The government has persuaded PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and PDM has decided to shift the sit-in against the Supreme Court to D Chowk.

According to the Top News Planet despite the implementation of Section 144 in Islamabad, PDM has announced today to protest against the Supreme Court at the red zone. Yesterday, PDM chief Fazlur Rehman rejected the request of federal ministers Ishaq Dar and Rana Sanaullah not to protest outside the Supreme Court.

However, sources have said that the government has finally convinced Maulana Fazlur Rehman, after which it has been decided to shift the sit-in of PDM to D Chowk.

Sources say that matters have been settled between the government and the PDM and the protest workers will not come outside the Supreme Court.

Earlier, the district administration of Islamabad has not allowed the PDM to protest and sit in the red zone today and the police has blocked all the roads leading to the red zone.

The Federal Police has stopped the protest convoys at Serena Chowk, while the police say that Serena Chowk can be used to go to the red zone.

PDM denied permission to hold protest and sit-in in Red Zone

Convoys are moving towards Islamabad from different cities of the country to participate in the PDM protest.
