Islamabad (topnewsplanet) – The Supreme Court summoned the representatives of all the political parties yesterday on the issue of the request to hold the elections together in the country.
Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial remarked that the request to hold elections simultaneously is inadmissible, if the political parties come to a stand, the court can make room. If there is no political consensus, the election decision will be implemented on May 14.
Lawyer Shah Khawar took the position that the elections should be held simultaneously across the country, if the elections are held separately, many complications will arise, the elected governments in the provinces will influence the election.
The Chief Justice inquired why the Attorney General did not raise this point when the discussion was taking place. Not knowing who asked the Attorney General to emphasize 4/3, the Attorney General will be asked who prevented him from adopting this position.

Advocate Faisal Chaudhry said that the interior minister says that elections will not be held on May 14.
The Chief Justice remarked that if there is a political consensus, the decision of May 14 will be implemented. Justice Ejaz-ul-Ahsan said that both the parties have to take steps to reduce the political temperature.
The Supreme Court adjourned further hearing till tomorrow.
